Yemeni is a kind of healty Flat-heeled Shoe that topside made from red or black colored leather and the lower part made from stout leather. Despite, in other regions of Turkey people call Yemeni as a cloth that has been painted or printed by hand, in our city we know this name as a shoe.

Orhan CAKIROGLU the producer of the Yemeni said that they had made special Yemeni’s for the Movie “Truva” (An adaptation of Homer's great epic, the film follows the assault on Troy by the united Greek forces and chronicles the fates of the men involved). Their shoes had been used by the actors and bit players at the movie. |
